CourierPost recognised for its sustainable product lifecycle07 Sep 2009 CourierPost is proud to have won a ‘highly commended’ award for its sustainable product lifecycle initiatives at the recent
2009 Environmental Packaging Awards.
Held by the Packaging Council of New Zealand, we entered the Packaging Design Award category with a range of initiatives such as our eco-range, micron reduction (packaging thickness) as well as our recycling service for used packaging.
 The judges were particularly impressed with our Backtrack Your Trackpak service which makes it easy for customers to recycle used trackpaks by providing a large reusable drawstring bag in which they can store their used packaging. When the bag is full a courier will collect this and deliver it to a recycling plant.
As a company we are very proud to be recognised with this award and are looking forward to entering our new sustainable initiatives at next year’s awards. |
