Authority to Leave
An authority to leave is where a recipient provides permission to CourierPost to allow couriers to sign for and leave items that usually require the recipients' signature at the time of delivery.
- Authority to leave requests are not for one off use, e.g. Card to Call redelivery where the item may require a signature.
- An authority to leave is permanent and for either Business or Residential use.
- We target to process your authority to leave in two working days
- An authority to leave will affect all deliveries to the nominated delivery address, however some senders are exempt from the authority to leave process, and as such items sent from them can not be signed for and left by the courier.
By completing an Authority to Leave, the Sender, CourierPost or its contractors will not be liable for any loss or damage that results from leaving the consignment(s) as requested at the nominated delivery address.
